The voices...

I got hooked on "the Voice". In Australia after a day of sightseeing...I like music, it soothes my soul, it always has....But, I don't like having the contestants being voted off as they are talented and gifted on their singing...but the judges have the opportunity to coach and encourage the contestants to improve...

So I still watch it occasionally here InThe states since returning,,,there is so much talent....

The Bible speaks about singing and song from the beginning to the end.  Some are sad songs, victory songs, gratitude songs, love songs , new songs, books of songs-Psalms and Song of Solomon......

In Zephaniah , it says that even The Lord will rejoice with singing....can you imagine The Lord of the Universe singing??? That is beyond awesome...imagination .....

Zephaniah 3:17

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

There are songs of various leaders, Moses, Miriam, David, Deborah, the sons of Korah, Mary,  Zachariah, Paul and Silas, the angels, the heavenly choir, the redeemed .....

There are songs for victory, redemption, praise, thanksgiving, sorrow , joy, comfort, mocking, proclamation, happiness, worthiness , learning and remembering events.....

After watching "the Voice", I am glad that God looks at the heart of the singer, not the talent...He looks at the attitude.....and I am not judged for my singing, but encouraged to sing the new song that the Spirit gives....

Colossians 3:16

1 Chronicles 15:22
