Our country is blessed with so much fruit. We can get exotic and "regular" fruit year around...but this time of the year there is an abundance of fruit....
Yesterday, I made the Costco run for fruit...so much variety....colors, textures, flavones...I have gotten away from getting fruit there unless I have an event or company coming...as I can't eat that amount on my own ...those big packages are big...
But,even the regular stores have an abundance ....God was so good to us, to give us a great variety....and we just see what there is in America. There are much more in other countries. That we don't see here on a regular basis....
Genesis 1:12
The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
Leviticus 25:19
Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill and live there in safety.
Leviticus 26:4
I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.
In the old testament, the people were even asked to tithe their fruit to The Lord...
Having lived in Nevada for so many years, we appreciated every fruit that our various trees/ bushes produced. There was a saying that you only got a crop every 7 years. I think that is true from the trees. And that year, the birds seemed to get their share first!!!
You never knew what you were going to get from your garden.... You planted it all, in hopes of getting something..nothing was guaranteed...
It made me ponder ....does the fruit in my life show in great abundance as do the stores??? Am I fruitful?? What does it take to be fruitful....?
