Papers, papers and more papers......

Going through 40 + years of papers reminded me of the verse in John that he could have written so much more about Jesus.....

I just know that Don really supported the paper industry as well as the paper clip and file folder industries as well. That was before all the computer files, back up files and hard drives to hold more back up files...

Notes on. Geology for the time he was I elementary school until a month before he passes away. It was a passion and creative part of him that lives on...

but the other kind of notes were Sunday school notes, church notes, books of journals from his various Bible studies...lots of questions that he asked, then studied through....he always said that if someone could tell him how many angle could dance on the head of a pin, he would answer something about geology and the Bible....unanswerables.......but such diligence....

We have pictures with him reading the Bible everyday, with one or more children ....building churches, baptizing his children, laughing, walking in China, Mongolia . With family....friends.

I have found cards he bought for birthdays, valentines day, Christmas....friendship, encouragement ,,,newsclippings of weddings, funerals, mines opening, mines closing, mines expansions, 4H, church events, school events, historical events, ......interests of many things.....

I found nothing to discredit who he was as a real person... He was who he was with no hidden agendas , or life....

He was faithful to his God, his family , his friends, to his business....

Thank you , God for the 44 years I had him in my life....he had a distinct place is history for many people , for many reasons...for many events....

Just as we all do...

1 Peter 5: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
