Hands......

Hands come in sizes and shapes, ....broad, bony, callused, soft, dirty, clean....... Short , stubby, .....welcoming,   Threatening,,  rejecting....blessing, .....working, serving , helping .....empty, full...powerful....weak...feeble....skilled...measuring....conceit....deformed...bruised, battered, scarred....healing, judging...... 

There are 1417 references to the word, hand, in the Bible....

I wonder what God's hands look like.  I always think of His hands as the positive...righteous, healing, helpful....things I want for me,  but His hands are so much more,,,,,more than I can even imagine...they are hold everything...., can do everything,  immeasurably, infinitely, ......

They hold the hold world and and care for the smallest detail...they can strike down and bless, comfort.....they can mete out justice, and heal....they are everything as He is everything.....

Job 12:10

In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.

Psalm 18:35

You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great.

Psalm 44:3

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory;  your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.
