Shadows....

Early morning walks in the sunshine are very flattering.  With the sun  At your back, you look  tall and slender.  As the day progresses , you get shorter and shorter until nothing at noon then shorter until you are taller again later in the day...funny how that works...they are fleeting, and not real, changing until,they go away .....so even the shortest can be tall and the tallest can be short...

You can make silhouettes with shadows,  animals with your hands....using the lights...still

 They go away with out the light source. 

In Elko, we had a lot of quail in our yard, as well as a lot of bushes.  It was intestersting to watch  as the quail usually kept under to bush shadows , running from shadow to shadow for protection....very rarely would they emerge into the full light ....so they used the shadows as protection from the kestrels we occasionally had looking for a meal....

 Flattering, fleeting, protecting.....shadows ......ever changing.....not real......quickly changing......shifting....

I am glad that God is real...He remains the same....day to night.....generation to generation....
