Whirling mind....

Whirling mind......

I awoke with a whirling mind,, many things to think about...ponder, fix?, and immediately went into the busy mode....that is exactly why I am going to a sleep therapist...to learn to put those thoughts back to sleep, so I can sleep.   So opened two devotionals, both about not worrying, .....isn't God a good mind reader....He knows all things and reminds us that we can rest in HIM..and thank Him.....which I am still learning to do....I cannot change the world, the circumstances, people...but He can...if I don't get in His way, or lessons to learn... For myself and others...I see such different solutions....which of course should be logical...But He says, his thoughts are not my thoughts, or His ways are not my ways...basically... "Chill"....okay, but........

...easier said than done....

I may be part of the solution and maybe not...and I have to rest in that...Only He sees the big picture , how all the puzzle pieces fit together into a perfect picture ....with the outcome He alone knows...how He is working In peoples lives, my life...what brings about the growth in Him....

It comes down to a basic 5 letter word, "trust"....so little, so much .....

Okay, okay...thank YOU again and again for the  reminders.  You work in such wonderfully, awesome ways...and I still question..."help my unbelief"... And You do again and again...in YOUR way....

Be still in My Presence, even though countless tasks clamor for your attention. Nothing is as important as spending time with Me. While you wait in My Presence, I do My best work within you: transforming you by the renewing of your mind. If you skimp on this time with Me, you may plunge headlong into the wrong activities, missing the richness of what I have planned for you.
