Seeing generations through a one way window....

Seeing generations through a one way window....

I stood watching my grandson on the floor with children climbing all over him, playing, wrestling, laughing, .....in the nursery at church.....they didn't know I was watching....looking through a one way window and through time....it was one of those ambush moments of memories, good times, fun times of children playing with their grandfather, their father,....

Little girls sitting on their grandfather's lap, pulling his suspenders, laughing..

Little boys and girls, wrestling with their father on the  living room floor...

Little boys and girls, playing Bible charades....dad always had the part of the donkey in the nativity...or the camel riding across the desert sands...someone to ride.....

Later, grandchildren wrestling with grandpa on the floors again as he had done with their fathers/mother....

Little ones riding their grandfather's leg, as he bounced them up and down again and again..until his legs were too tired...

Or new fathers wrestling with their children...

Until now, three generations later....here was the teenager wrestling with the children...just like his father, his grandfather and great grandfather had done....

Seeing generations through a one way window.....all that gone Into making that moment...in time...time so quickly passing...it seems like a blur...a vapor and it is gone...blessings of memories, giggles, laughter echoing through the one way window of the mind....

Thank YOU for the pictures, the blessings,  the laughter, the memories which continue on through the generations....You, who is constant, the Father, holding us, laughing with us, teaching us....giving us blessings upon blessings...

Deuteronomy 32:7
Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you.

Psalm 33:11
But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

I will perpetuate your memory through all generations; therefore the nations will praise you for ever and ever.
