Moon, stars and sun. .....

Moon and stars...

Last night I was coming home after "Griefshare" and I watched the spectacular rising of a full moon...at first I wondered what was causing such a great light in the east and then realized it was the moon coming up as a giant orb of light....I got home and went out with my camera, but really couldn't get a good picture of it...it seemed to light the night all night long...brighter than the street lights outside my house...

Then this morning, I up to let the dog out and collect the paper, and the stars were brilliant as well, the big dipper, full now, not pouring out it contents...and the moon had moved west to shine over the snow capped cascades....

It was all such a reminder of the creation, the heavenly home prepared for us...we won't need the moon or the sun to shine as God will be the glory,the light ,the lamp for all...

But, also, a reminder of the end times that seem so eminent, in my finite mind,,,,when the nations will rise against one another, and there will be signs In the moon, stars and sun...

I guess for now, I will enjoy the moon, stars, and sun for all of their glory, anticipating the end times and the glory of heaven... Enjoy each day as it comes, but waiting...

Thank YOU for the reminders of Yourself, your creation to enjoy, the gift of waiting and anticipation...You are the everlasting light,the Lamp for all to see...
