In sweet remembrance.....

..in sweet remembrance....

Photos rolling slowly one by one....music playing those old hymns or western tunes....

Loving family, grandsons, granddaughters, daughter , great children, nieces , nephews, widow, long time friends, longtime business associates, long time neighbors, fellow church friends...traveling buddies .....

All frames, sizes, ages.....from stooped to standing straight and tall....from white haired to colors of various colors......

Reminiscing, quietly crying or holding back the tears to later, laughing, napping....quiet....smiling .....regretting,....celebrating....thinking....listening......

The music, from singing to guitar to harmonica to congregational .....ever in remembrance ....

The eulogy, some mispronounced words, others a history of a life well lived, a tribute to times past,  pieces of history, glimpses of life.....

A well spoken message of life and how to live it eternally....thank you...well said....

A few memories shared.....

A meal provided by loving hearts and hands....

Hugs all around, remembrances ......again...and again....sweet, poignant ....

These are thing times to remember , the caring, the love.....the family sharing .....through it all.......the ups and downs, the real.....

Thank you for being there....being real...loving us through this new phase of life....holding our hands, enfolding us in your arms....speaking to our hearts....God... You are the rock, the helper, the comforter....our hope.....

Psalm 16:11
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 21:6
Surely you have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence.

you will fill me with joy in your presence.

Psalm 116:15

Revelation 21:4
