Getting back to the "real" world....

Getting back to the "real" world....

As I return from a vacation. My mind starts ramping up to the "real" world... I start thinking of, planning for all of the items that need attention...business, house, appointments, etc, etc....I look at my daily planner and see what needs to be taken care of....then, as I open one of my devotions, I am caught up short by God's clear message..."be sure and put me into your plans, your day"....He still claims first place...and wants to me to remember that...

As I run to and fro...helter,  skelter, here and there,.....I need to listen to what He wants as priority...in thoughts, plans, activities ....am I doing what is important for His kingdom?   Are my treasures going toward his kingdom? Is the time spent worthwhile?
If someone looked at my schedule, what and/or whom would they think runs my life?

I have choices, the Holy Spirit's voice in the stillness of my soul, speaking words of encouragement, wisdom, truth about the priorities... Of the day ahead...To whom will I listen and follow?  Myself or Him each moment? Each hour?

Thank YOU that you , that you know the day, you know our minds and how we get started each day...You bring us back to you  with Your voice ....Your word...Your intent ...help me to make the right choices, do the right things, treasure the right treasures....

Jesus calling-February 10

Trust Me enough to spend ample time with Me, pushing back the demands of the day. Refuse to feel guilty about something that is so pleasing to Me, the King of the universe. Because I am omnipotent, I am able to bend time and events in your favor. You will find that you can accomplish more in less time, after you have given yourself to Me in rich communion. Also, as you align yourself with My perspective, you can sort out what is important and what is not.

Don’t fall into the trap of being constantly on the go. Many, many things people do in My Name have no value in My kingdom. To avoid doing meaningless works, stay in continual communication with Me. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
—Luke 10:41–42

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
—Psalm 32:8 nasb

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Be joyful always; Pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 19:26 ..."With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
