Is someone waiting for your encouragement?
That question was posed in a recent mailing I received from the speaker and author, Jennifer Rothschild .
Encouragement....we all need it In some form or another....spoken words of affirmation, a note, a thoughtful gift..a hug, time,.....the love language terms.....
I know some families that could use some encouragement, some women....some children...and probably some men....I could use some from time to time...those that are grieving, confused, growing up, battered, emotionally tired, discouraged about one thing or another...figuring out life...
They need someone to come along side them, encouraging them as they move through life...we all need that encouragement from time to time...truth spoken about the character of God.....
What do we say? How do we act when encouraging??? Who does God put in your path each day....in your mind....?
Listen...observe...care...we all can encourage In some manner....empathy....
I thank you, that You encourage, You send others to encourage, You teach us to encourage..
help me to have an awareness of those who need encouragement, give me the right words, abilities for that task....
