In need of a Saviour.....

In need of a Saviour...

Everyone needs a Saviour...no matter how high/low born, intellectual/non intellectual, rich/poor, skin/hair color, culture, geographical location .....everyone....

We can look in an infinity of places for a place with which to put our trust ...but all are vain unless we encounter Jesus, the Son of God, who came to us...

We try to buy our way to heaven, think our way to heaven, look good, feel good, do good...but those all have no basis...they all are temporal...not eternal...plus they are "our" way to please...and we find that each has it own course, ours...our choosing...our thinking..

On the other hand, God, gave us a clear route, which our pride, materialism, good works, money can't buy...it is free, freely given at a great  price to Christ..

I have to get beyond my thinking that I can do good to get to heaven,  Buy my way, be the right culture, be the right color, have the right education, wear the right clothes...speak the right language, sing the right songs, go to the right churches, have the right friends, ....it all comes down to simply me and my own encounter the Jesus...no one else can do it for me...He paid for my sins, and I need to acknowledge that...we each need to face that ....on our own...at some point in out lives...

What do we do with this Christ?

Thank You in all  life, that You are the Saviour, that we all have to answer to, deal with....
You came to seek and save the lost...

Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Romans 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

1 Corinthians 15:2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

John 3:16-18New International Version (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Romans 14:12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.
