Through the eyes of a baby.....

Through the eyes of a baby.....

Getting ready for Christmas, whether it was this time of the year or not, the real look of the manger, three wise men or a dozen...it is still the celebration and the commemoration of the Christ's child's birth....God with us....

Here is God entering his creation's world In a most unique  way, through human birth...it boggles the mind...

Was Mary saved from a painful childbirth...because she was carrying the perfect baby?

Were the animals in that dirty stable instinctively aware that this baby was different?

Were the wrapping cloths new and scratchy to His tender skin or used, handed from one mother to another?

Did the straw from that manger tickle His petal soft skin?

From modern day studies, an infant's senses are not too good at first, but what did Jesus see when He was born???

Was His eyesight perfect, seeing his mother, hearing her croon soft comforting sounds to this special baby?  Trying his first taste of human milk, He the Creator, seeing, feeling this from a human's perspective.....

Was he waiting for shepherds....the angels' song?

Did the innkeeper visit to see if they were "comfortable"?  Or did he care?

Did more people come after the shepherds spread the word of this event?

How does perfection act as an infant? child?

Later, As a child, was he waiting for the magi to come, because he knew they were coming???

Mary treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart.....

A few day after the birth, When they went to the temple with their poor offering of two doves or pigeons, people noticed, Anna and Simeon...who had waited in anticipation of this Particular Child....they knew Him, moved by the Spirit, they knew exactly who he was.....
The promised one....as had the shepherds....

More things for Mary to ponder...

All this through the eyes of a baby.....a special baby....Emmanuel, God with us....

Thank YOU that You stepped into our world...what a sacrifice to you to leave the heavenly realm,    What a sacrifice, what a love....for us...rich or poor, dirty or clean, leaders or followers.....anyone....everyone...whomever believes....You came that we might have a way to YOU.....You created, but experienced...but  in perfection....something that we will never understand fully....But You loved enough to come...to live, to die , to live again....thank you.....

Genesis 3:16a
16 To the woman he said,
"I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
with painful labor you will give birth to children......
