Memorial Day Concert 2023

 Memorial Day….2023

One of my favorite TV programs each year is the National Memorial Day Concert held in Washington DC…it is a time to cry, to honor, to listen, to contemplate…

You can walk through cemeteries around the country, around the world finding those who have served in various wars, served their countries, served their families….giving their life for various causes…or go to museums which commemorate live lived and lost…those who gave their all…that others might live…

The concert, brings it all together for me…

I thank those who have paid the price for my life, my freedom…

The world has another who gave his life for all, not just in wars, for for all time, Jesus… soldiers in the military give their lives for our earthly freedom…but Jesus gave his life for our salvation, our freedom from sin, for our eternity in heaven…the soldiers and Jesus both paid for us with their blood…
