Will I ever get there?......

Will I ever get there?

Trust, will I ever get there, ...that ultimate place where I immediately lay down a new burden, problem, surprise, bit of news and say, "here it is, I am letting  You take it right now, without me mulling, fretting, stewing, wearing it out.."  I want that to happen..I really try, I lay it down, pick it up, lay it down, pick it up....endlessly..until finally, finally it is taken  away, or peace comes...

I don't want worry or fretting to dominate, or be who I am...I don't want drama, news, problems to totally electrify my world...I want that trust to be a solid part of my life..tangible, running out, abundant..overflowing so that it fills my very soul...not the frown between my eyebrows, the sullenness, the pacing of my being...I want that open hands to God for Him  to be the Face that others see..peaceful, joyful, comforting, open armed....consoling....my Help....

Thank YOU that You are worthy of trust, worth of Praise, worthy....

Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:20-21 NIV

Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.

Jesus calling....October 10

Trust Me enough to let things happen without striving to predict or control them. Relax, and refresh yourself in the Light of My everlasting Love. My Love-Light never dims, yet you are often unaware of My radiant Presence. When you project yourself into the future, rehearsing what you will do or say, you are seeking to be self-sufficient: to be adequate without My help. This is a subtle sin—so common that it usually slips by unnoticed.

The alternative is to live fully in the present, depending on Me each moment. Rather than fearing your inadequacy, rejoice in My abundant supply. Train your mind to seek My help continually, even when you feel competent to handle something by yourself. Don’t divide your life into things you can do by yourself and things that require My help. Instead, learn to rely on Me in every situation. This discipline will enable you to enjoy life more and to face each day confidently.

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
—Psalm 37:3–6

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
—Philippians 4:19 nkjv
