Harvest and new life....

Harvest and new life....

Driving across the state yesterday, I saw harvested fields of grain, onions, alfalfa, corn, fields ready for harvest...then in some fields were herds of antelope, some standing eating  with their tiny babies nearby and other fields  tiny calves with their watchful mothers attending their needs.....harvest and new life together....

In other fields, the weeds were thick where once had been abundant crops....the fields overgrown and left unattended due to lack of water.....the farmers had to pick an choose which fields they planted and watered....

The Bible speaks of harvesting many times throughout its pages....how to harvest, what to leave for foreigners, widows and the poor ....provision in a new land, provision  and lack of planning, no planting or harvesting during certain years, lack of harvest due to disobedience....abundant harvest of lives waiting to be told the truth....blessings of harvest.....in the fields and in lives...

We all fit into the harvest, either sowing, watering or harvesting in others' lives or our own...we are workers, not to grow weary of the work set before us, but to continue forward...but God supplies the fields, and ultimately He is the supplier of all...we are to be diligent in the places He puts us...harvesting and new life together ....

Thank YOU for the pictures You present even in a drive....harvesting of crops, fallow fields, drought, new life...You is the common to teach and remind us of those things in my life...I want the harvest, not the drought,...the new life, the productiveness of harvest...Your blessings from obedience ....the rejoicing of harvests and new life .....
