Comfort verses…7…IRS…

 Comfort verses…7…IRS…

Yesterday I had the rare privilege to go to the Federal building and visit the IRS “Care” Center…I had received a letter earlier that couldn’t be dealt with over the phone nor the website…they had to see me in person with a pile of identification pieces…plus some past  tax documents…I took my accountant to answer questions…

They were polite and helpful, checking each piece, asking questions, sorting through the problem online and on the phone…but, was so glad I took an advisor with me to answer their concerns as the IRS person was befuddled on why I even had to be there, as everything was in order on our side, but it seemed not on their side…now another 6 month wait to get a letter of okay…oh, well…a new adventure…

My list of comfort verses I started for my cancer, but they are for day to day living…meeting the oncologist or the IRS agents…

Thank YOU….

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 NIV)

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time” (1 Peter 5:6 NIV)

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!

Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!

Ps.34.8

Praise the Lord!Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments!

He is not afraid of bad news;his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.

Ps.112.1,Ps.112.7

But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Job.2.10

Then came to him all his brothers and sisters and all who had known him before, and ate bread with him in his house. And they showed him sympathy and comforted him for all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him. And each of them gave him a piece of money and a ring of gold.

Job.42.11

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28 NIV)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

2Cor.1.3,2Cor.1.4

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.Romans 15:6-7

 Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Day by day….
