 Psalm 145…generations…

 One generation shall commend your works to another,and shall declare your mighty acts. 

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,and your dominion endures throughout all generations.[The Lord is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.]

Ps.145.4, 13

I know I have written about this before…generations…

Telling of God’s provision, great love, His Word, Jesus’ redemptive work on our behalf….for each generation…declaring His mighty acts on and on …because His dominion exists through all generations…it never ceases…He never ceases…

We are given the awesome task of passing down/on to our descendants that information…

We may not have a big story as the deliverance of the Israelites , but God has given us our story of His moving in our lives…his provision, his working on our behalf, etc….

 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 

You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. 

You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. “

And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day. 

And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.’

Ps.45.17

 He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel,which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them,the children yet unborn,and arise and tell them to their children,     

so that they should set their hope in  God and  not forget the works of God,but keep his commandments;

 Let this be recorded for a generation to come,so that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord:

 And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.
