Light streaming...

Light streaming...

I have been listening to the book, "the three year swim club". Am at a part, where the author is describing the fitting of ocean liners for the war effort in   World War 2, taking out the lights, covering the window, portholes so that no light would show through...

Or other recounting of lives when windows were blackened by coverings or paint so that light wouldn't show habitation...

This morning, the sun is shining outside, squeaking through any tiny slits around my bedroom's blackout drapes...making way for the light to shine...

Light will penetrate the darkness...just like Gods love penetrates...as much as we sometimes feel that life is dark, God's love is lighter, greater...thank YOU...

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Psalm 18:28 You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.

Psalm 118:27 The Lord is God, and he has made his light shine on us. With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession up to the horns of the altar.

John 1:4-5, 9 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.
