Psalms, again and again....

Psalms, again and again....

Reading the psalms again...the 100's continue with such praise for everything...creation, salvation, the character of God, the saving of Israel, personal joy of the writer, David...

Psalm 100:1-5 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

They start and end with thanksgiving, praise....plus praise throughout the verses...filling your being with joy...even in the hardest of times...

I was struck this a.m. With the verse, Psalm 107:43, "Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord."
My version says, "consider the great love of the Lord."

After reading several of these psalms, you can't not consider the great love of the Lord....amazing .....

Then I opened up this song by the Piano Guys and it was just another affirmation of His Love...as well as  a missionary letter that though a tiring year for them, they were seeing God's hand in their lives and answers to their dilemmas  and desires...

Thank YOU....who made the heavens and earth, care for our hearts, souls and minds....
