The voice of the Lord.....

The voice of the Lord.....

The question is asked, "what storms are blowing through my life right now?" Am I giving God the glory even in those storms, letting His voice rule, am I finding His peace through the storm...or am I in an uproar listening to the storm rattle its fury???

Reading Psalm 29 this am was again a reminder to lay the storms at His feet, because only He has power over the storms of life...my job is to listen and seek His face....seek His strength and not my own...listen to his gentle answer and not the roar of the world....walk in His way, not my own...He alone gives peace.....

Thank YOU....

Psalm 29:1-11 Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.
The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes Lebanon leap like a calf, Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of lightning.
The voice of the Lord shakes the desert; the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.

Isaiah 28:23, 26 Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say. His God instructs him and teaches him the right way.

Isaiah 30:21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Psalm 95:7 for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice,

1 Kings 19:12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
