What do these people have in common? They were young when their lives changed direction….part of their journey with God…unexpected changes…new directions….they may have been surprised, but God had their lives well in hand…

The well known verse from Jeremiah…the Lord speaking to the people of Israel in Babylon…

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Jer.29.11

Many of us have life-changing experiences at a young age…some very bad things have happened, as well as good things…events that made us think in a certain direction …events that rocked our worldview…events that rocked our emotions, soul, mind, heart…experiences that changed our course for good and for bad…

They drive us to God  or away from God… 

As I look at this list of people from the Bible, I can read about their responses to life changes…we have their stories and how they handled change…how each were used….how God worked in their lives ….what a encouragement to meet our own…no matter the age…
