Rejoice and be thankful......

Rejoice and be thankful......

Three years ago today ,we were packing up in a small UHAUL truck to visit the oncologist 6 hours away, then move to another town a day's journey in another direction so that we could be closer to family  in my husband's final days or months.....many people came to visit, say their farewells, pray with us, help pack....such blessings each one, tears, praise, bittersweet times...we were living In Reality and a fog at the same time...everything was was slow motion and fast forward at the same time....it is hard even to imagine it now, very surreal...we did what we had to do.....each moment seemed to invite another change in our lives...
And yet the admonishment was to  rejoice and be thankful, trusting  God  along the way...being in His peace....relying on Him to direct our paths....and He came through in glorious ways....providing   helpers,  doctors,  nurses, housing ,  strength, encouragement, family , at each juncture...we could have never done it without His intervention ......
Jesus calling -March 22
Rejoice and be thankful! As you walk with Me through this day, practice trusting and thanking Me all along the way. Trust is the channel through which My Peace flows into you. Thankfulness lifts you up above your circumstances.
I do My greatest works through people with grateful, trusting hearts. Rather than planning and evaluating, practice trusting and thanking Me continually. This is a paradigm shift that will revolutionize your life.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
—Philippians 4:4
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
—Psalm 95:1–2
Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.
—Psalm 9:10

Thank YOU for Your direction, Your glorious  intervention in our lives....leading us  to Your peace, trust.....
