Sculptures .....

Sculptures ...... Throughout the years we have traveled I have noticed sculptures here and there..... In Burns, OR, there are children playing, exploring... In a small town in Colorado, they have carved the dying trees into all sorts of animals,.... In graveyards in numerous places, there are carvings, sculptures representing angels, loved ones.... Mark twain sits forever at motel where we stayed.... Elk and deer jump, fight or bugle at McDonald's, museums.... Fish jump through metal rivers in another town... Glass fusions from the very tiny to the monster sized lights on cruise ships of every color and fluidity, dancing in space...catching light... The talented artists who create these pieces see the world of beauty and are able to capture the movement in a piece of time, freeze-framed ....for all of us to see and enjoy... God had specific artisans work on the original tabernacle... He called them by name and gave them assignments of what He wanted carved, woven, created....it must have been so beautiful...this work of art in the desert... And long before that, His creation of the earth, the universe, us...all had a purpose...His delight.... While all of us can't be artists, we are to portray Christ to all around us, we may be the only picture of Christ that some see... Thank YOU for your glory...help me to show that light, beauty of His Grace to those around me... Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you: 7 the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law with the atonement cover on it, and all the other furnishings of the tent— 8 the table and its articles, the pure gold lampstand and all its accessories, the altar of incense, 9 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, the basin with its stand— 10 and also the woven garments, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests, 11 and the anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place.
