Just as...

Just as....

There are a lot of "just as" in the New Testament, I keep finding them as I read...
-Just as it was written...
-just as you believed ....
-just as he said...
-just as he promised ....

Comparisons and promises kept...two little words saying so much, meaning so much...how God acts, what Jesus did....How we are to act,...what we are to say...what we are to believe ....

Thank You for the "just as" found ....throughout your word...

Matthew 8:13Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment...

Matthew 12:13Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?

Matthew 19:16 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,...

The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. But I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done to him everything they wished, just as it is written about him.

the disciples left, went into the city and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover

The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’” to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised our ancestors.”

The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them.

They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover.
