The wise and foolish....

Everyday I receive a short video which usually brings with it a smile...at the cuteness, or funniness or whatever...this day's happens to be about the foolish turning to wise...which fit exactly with the scripture I was reading, Proverbs 1, ....
So apropos ....

Proverbs 1:1-8, 33 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:
-for gaining wisdom and instruction;
-for understanding words of insight;
-for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair;
-for giving prudence to those who are simple, knowledge and discretion to the young— let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—
-for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. ....
Concluding with
....but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

The verses between 8 and 33 describe the warnings against rejecting wisdom...the "simple" foolish, mockers of wisdom who go about their merry wayward way until it destroys them in their complacency against wisdom...

Oh, how we would do well to seek God's wisdom in all that we do...help me to abide in that wisdom....thank YOU....

James 1:5, 25 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
