Mush......

Mush.........

During times of grieving, which our family has been in for  4 years, it seems like my mind has been part mush or at times, all mush...you work in automatic, you go through the motions, you make decisions, you move forward, not knowing what that looks like....you do the bookwork, the people work, out of habit, out of necessity, but maybe not really comprehending everything, you just do it...

You work on family relationships, people skills, business skills, new skills of various sorts, take up the slack, but moving .......sometimes in a fog......mush......other times with clarity....

As time passes, the fog gets less foggy, less mushy....the pain is less, but still there, less intense...there are still "ambush" moments.....

You come to realize how much God has been carrying you through it all...His mind is always clear, His love has enfolded, lifted up, carried  us through .....He wants to lighten our load....He wants our clarity of mind...Hw wants to carry our grief ....our burdens...

With less  fogginess, less mushiness, we become more self sufficient and less needy....less dependent...less leaning....and not listening to the Spirit....not that He allows trials to make us needy,....I just realize I need Him in the good times as well as the mushy times as well...my mind needs His clarity, His guidance, all the time...

Thank YOU for the fogginess, the mushiness, the grief, even....to highlight the need for You all the time....You bring strength, comfort, transformation, peace....clarity...through the good times and the bad...
