Thinking about Jonah…

 Thinking about Jonah….

I woke up thinking about Jonah, four small chapters about a man who was called by God to do a specific task, tried to run from God, thrown overboard from a ship, caught by a whale, spit out by the whale, finally obeyed God’s call, then was angry because the people heeded God’s warning…is he human or what????

Or the saying about what do we do in “secret”…when others aren’t watching…are we a Christian then as well as in public?

One of the articles said…”God has no problem  removing you from your comfort one”…I am sure many of us can attest to that…and so much more….

Jonah may be a small book, but it has big lessons…these are some readings…all so good…I know many convicted my heart…and I had to remember Jonah was not put into the Word by mistake about a rebellious man…

Plus, we see God’s amazing salvation through repentance…his amazing love …
