A few things found in my last week’s mail….along with Paul’s letter to the Corinthians…
Paul finishes up with notes of future plans, everyday instructions , salutations, encouragements, quick last-minute thoughts…this letter will take more time to reach its readers than any of mine ever did…
Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
Let all that you do be done in love.
Now I urge you, brothers—you know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints— be subject to such as these, and to every fellow worker and laborer. I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they have made up for your absence, for they refreshed my spirit as well as yours. Give recognition to such people.

Looking at my mail, there were many instances that God supplied others who “refreshed” their spirits…coming along side them to encourage , to work, to build up, served all over the world, just as these men in Paul’s letter…and they rejoiced just as Paul did…working in love as Paul admonished…
There is always room for encouragement…for service…for working in love…it may not be physical labor as some can… but words, prayers, even funds…building up the Body of Christ…
