The greatest gift of all time that keeps on giving...

all time that keeps giving....

My Christmas shopping is done for this year...but, this is a great bargain time for future giving or the proverbial last minute ideas, gifts...

The shops are filled with ideas, people bustling about, much Christmas inspired items..each waiting for the “big” day...trees are lit it the evening windows, stockings are all hung with care...sale brochures are arriving everyday by snail mail, email, newspapers-anyway possible to
catch our interest and pocketbooks...

As I peruse this avalanche of Christmas giving I find I must turn back the clocks to a baby in a manger...the greatest gift of all time...and what we are invited to receive...

The booklet, “the Romans road “ reminds me of this gift for all...

it reminds me that ...

  1. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

  1. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

  1. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  2. And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
Romans 3:23,5:8,6:23,11:6

  1. ....to the one who.....trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.
Romans 4:5

  1. for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 10:13

This is the greatest gift...salvation...it has been offered freely to all who would believe, repent and acknowledge that Jesus is Lord...

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
James 1:17

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
2 Corinthians 9:15

Thank YOU...

(I found that I can look to see who(not specifically, but generally) reads this blog...I am humbled that it is read all over world...
When I see this, I am again reminded that this “Gift”, given freely is not for one nation, one people group, but the World...Jesus came to save the World, the “whoever”...such love, such compassion is beyond comprehension...
So, the message is for all...)
