Crater Lake National Park....

Crater Lake National  Park....

Isaiah 55:12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

Yesterday, I was blessed with the opportunity to visit Crater Lake National park. When we have gone before, we had to climb a snow bank, look quickly at the lake, and leave... This time, however,  was different with lunch at the old lodge built 100 years ago and maintained beautifully, a ranger narrated trip in an old trolley around the 30+ mile rim of the lake...the day was shirt-sleeve weather, with not a cloud in the sky...gorgeous...

People from around the world were enjoying the sight as well as we heard a huge variety of languages being spoken wherever we went..I am sure thousands of pictures went into cyber space around the globe to friends and relatives...

God created such a beautiful work of art for all to enjoy and we were...I wander if He smiles when we enjoy His handiwork in nature...it reminded me that we, too, are His handiwork...with a plan to do good works...how He must delight in each...

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Thank YOU for Your gifts of nature and the gifts you bestow on us to do Your will...

Psalm 148:1-14 Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights above.
Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.
Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.
Let them praise the name of the Lord, for at his command they were created, and he established them for ever and ever— he issued a decree that will never pass away.
Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths, lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding, you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds, kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth, young men and women, old men and children.
Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
And he has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his faithful servants, of Israel, the people close to his heart.
Praise the Lord.
