Own your faith…

 “Own your faith….”

Last night I started watching this year’s first rally after the

young adults arriving at Boot camp in Florida for Teen missions international ((TMI)..

For whatever reason, my YouTube just started grinding away and I missed most of the presentation…

(I checked and it is up to watch this am).

But,  I heard this challenge,,,,”a time to own your faith”….

I just made me think back in time when I was challenged to my own faith…what was it going to be…in whom would I put my faith…I couldn’t rely on my parent’s faith, my grandparents or anyone else’s…it was mine to decide, to own…

You don’t get to be a Christian by osmosis, by culture, by race, by parentage, being from a certain country, or whatever …

We each have to make our own choice…do we believe or not in Christ as Saviour…Personal Savior…who was born of a virgin, walked here on earth, died, was resurrected, sits at the right hand of God…promised, fulfilling prophecy through the ages, creator, comforter, King, Emmanuel…and so much more…

It is not another religion but a personal relationship with Jesus…a fellowship like none other…growing…real…transforming…without end…

Thank YOU…

“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.

Isaiah 45:22

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

John 3:5-8,16-17

9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.

John 10:9

Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Acts 16:30-31

because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him.

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?

As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?”

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Romans 10:9-17
