I was awakened this morning by this song…two versions…by Helen Lemmel…(there are several renditions on YouTube). 

Oh soul are you weary and troubled?

No light in the darkness you see?

There’s light for a look at the Savior,

And life more abundant and free!

It is hard to watch the news on any channel without breaking out in tears or a sweat for the things happening daily here and round the world….so much destruction, world crises, wars,famines, food shortages, and on and on…it is easy to stray from focus on one truth… Jesus in alive, Jesus saves…

So, help me to “ turn my eyes on Jesus”….
