The bandaid box…

I just used up the last bandaid from a box of my husband’s…it was leftover from one of his “junk” drawers…out fell these stickers…
I found them in various places over the years since I cleaned out his office, office supplies and dressers. He had them made to put on his outgoing correspondence. When we moved the last time, I had this verse painted over a seating area in our home as a surprise…
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8
It is one verse that really reminds me of him…as a geologist, he did a huge amount of research, collection of data, mine information, land information, rock samples, drill samples, collection of books on geology for the western states…as evidenced in the multiple four-drawer filing cabinets and various map cabinets we ended up with at his death…
He was always asking, seeking and finding mineral deposits…but he put his trust in God and sought his wisdom in more areas than just geology…
So when these stickers appeared this week, and then opening up one of my Bible programs to this “verse” for the day…I just had to say Thank YOU again…
