Finished....? Maybe...but probably not...

Finished.....? Maybe ....but probably not...

In our state, the governor has proposed the start of opening up “life “ slowly, with much care and caution various businesses in a staged manner after less cases of this year’s pandemic in which the world has changed...emotionally, economically, spiritually plus so much more that we don’t know...
Today’s the day...May 1, 2020...

We are wearing cloth masks more, we stay at distance from those around us, we order more of our groceries, needs, wants and desires online, there are less businesses to choose from, schools are closed....

Some churches are opening, others not so this weekend...
All with hopeful optimism but, cautiousness...we are not sure what will happen...will the disease strengthen and raise its ugly head with vengeance or slowly die away...will the summer heat and sunshine kill it, a new vaccine be developed, more medications to treat it successfully....so much is upon the air and questions abound...

This has been an eventful end of winter, spring beginning....quietness pervades the streets, businesses....a new chapter...

I was  reading psalm 41 and it ended with this...
Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.
Psalm 41:13

The end of a book in the Book of Psalms...praise,  praise to the Lord, the God of Israel....not just for this hour, this week, this year, but from everlasting to everlasting...

Three other endings are found similar to this verse...

Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen.
Psalm 72:18-19

Praise be to the Lord forever! Amen and Amen.
Psalm 89:52

Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the Lord .
Psalm 106:48

For me, God is saying, “praise needs to go on”, whether this particular virus goes on or not...He is from everlasting to everlasting, forever...above all else...He is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega...we come and go, diseases come and go, nations come and go, economies come and go...God is there, here...none of this is a surprise to Him...but, his glory lasts...his Word lasts...thank YOU...and Amen...
