gardens along the way 2...

Gardens along the way...2...

As I continue to walk each day, the landscape is changing, new is replacing the old, new flowers and trees are taking over, gardeners are cultivating or not, lawns being mowed or not, fruit beginning to set on the trees and bushes, the dandelions are being dealt with or not, more people are emerging from the shadows of winter and covid-19, more people are willing to say hello, maybe even chat at a distance...baby ducklings have hatched down the street, lambs are galloping along the fences, baby goats are jumping, calves are napping in the sun...but, growth in every direction...

As I was finishing 2 Peter this morning, he admonished ...
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”
2 Peter 3:18

Grow...don’t stay stagnant...grow...don’t hideaway...grow...live...grow in grace...grow in knowledge...grow in faith...mature...bear fruit...brighten someone’s path....encourage...grow...be that garden that continues to grow...let God grow you...take notice... of how God is speaking and teaching....thank YOU again for gardens along the way...

So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
1 Corinthians 3:7

Neither do we go beyond our limits by boasting of work done by others. Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand,
2 Corinthians 10:15

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
Ephesians 4:15

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people — the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world —just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.
Colossians 1:3-6

We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.
2 Thessalonians 1:3

3 You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.
Revelation 2:3
