My thoughts have been tangled lately with criticism from a former friend…accusations I wasn’t aware of…and I keep dwelling on those thoughts…with conversations running through my head, wondering what happened…

So as I was rereading the devotional from years ago, getting ready for my husband’s funeral…the words written were, “listen to Me continually… I am training you to set your mind on Me more and more, tuning out distractions through the Help of My Spirit…listen to Me and live abundantly.”

Jesus Calling..

I so appreciate when God knows my thoughts and speaks directly to them…through His Word…and gives me the gift of His peace…

 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!How vast is the sum of them! 

Search me, God, and know my heart;test me and know my anxious thoughts. 

See if there is any offensive way in me,and lead me in the way everlasting.

so is my word that goes out from my mouth:It will not return to me empty,but will accomplish what I desireand achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
