Comfort verses … 20…

 Comfort verses… 20…

Whether in good days or bad, it is nice to read comfort verses…

Be enfolded by their words like a cloak warms us on cool days…sometimes it may be a poem, a word of encouragement from a friend or book…God’s Word has so many……He is that friend, He is that cloak who knows our heart and our needs…whether a comforting word, sometimes an admonishing word..but He discerns which…and you can see that throughout scripture…He builds up, bears our burdens or tears or even  joy…as He has given us the Holy Spirit, he is with at all times…speaking truth…

Thank YOU…

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Rom.5.5

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Rom.15.13

“I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:4 NKJV).

“The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves” (Zephaniah 3:17a NIV).

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18 NIV).

Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19 ESV).

“When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, ‘Don’t cry’” (Luke 7:13 NIV).

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:1-2 NIV).

I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

John.10.28-29

“I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades” (Revelation 1:18 NIV).

“It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed” (Deuteronomy 31:8 ESV).

Breath of heaven….

( I know this is a Christmas song…but the words are so beautiful, tender for those in wonder, need… as Mary was)
