Board games, driver's licenses , Legos......

Board games, drivers licenses, Legos....

I have two "generations" of grandchildren, teenagers and 6 and unders....their interests are varied....the older ones are self sufficient, busy with teen activities, and are almost adults ....they know current praise songs which are on the Christian radio....talk about about subjects...fun and wonderful to be around...

The younger ones are playing simple board games, simple Lego directions, want to play in the dish water or help cook with those little aprons, learning school age Christian songs, chatter all the time, try their limits...

All are so wonderfully designed....with their varied personalities, likes, looks, temperaments, abilities...

I watched the four year old pull out a Bible, open it on a table, and start to expound on the story of Joseph, Daniel  and someone else....she turned pages like she was sermonizing to a crowd...all alone in the dining room...I have seen that scene before in the lives of her parents and aunts and uncles..."playing  church".....oh, how I am blessed that they are being brought up to know the Saviour...another generation that is being taught the truth...

I love this passing the baton, knowing that Jesus reigns in each of the children from the oldest teen to the youngest floor creeper....each one learning the Word....thank YOU...

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children.
Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
