 The Lord of all the earth…

A new phrase crops up in Joshua 3, “the Lord of all the earth”…

The LORD your God still is included, but this new phrase starts here and is used over and over…He is the one the helps them walk in dry ground across the flooding river Jordan…because He is the Lord of all the earth, the creator, their God like no other…

The phrase is not in the New Testament, but Jesus tells us that he and the Father are one…soooo…

But, Moses repeatedly says the LORD your God…he is making him so personal…the Joshua expands the concept to show that He is the Lord of alllll the earth as well.
