Joy and gladness….
I have to,admit, that I am extremely tired this morning….felt like I wrestled all night long, just to get comfortable…not sure why, but a fact…lots of chores to do today, so need to get with the program…gray skies, cold, dreary…
And then David hits me with words like joy, gladness, steadfast, restore, pleasure, praise, willing spirit.…etc…
I realize I need to align my attitude with God’s….even when it is hard….
Thank YOU…
Let me hear joy and gladness;let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
Create in me a pure heart, O God,and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and nd grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
Open my lips, Lord,and my mouth will declare your praise.
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;a broken and contrite heartyou, God, will not despise.
May it please you to prosper Zion,to build up the walls of Jerusalem.
