 Thanksgiving medley…

This  article showed up this morning with the following Bible verses…

I have read them over the years, each time rejoicing in their words…but this year they took on new meaning again…

Being ill and recovering is cause to give thanks, even through the pain…being ill and not recovering is cause to give thanks as well…(in all things give thanks, Philippians), just a bit harder…

I tear up as I read them because He chose for me to recover this time… and I am so thankful…

 Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;make known his deeds among the peoples! 

Sing to him, sing praises to him;tell of all his wondrous works! Glory in his holy name;let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice! 

Seek the Lord and his strength;seek his presence continually! Remember the wondrous works that he has done,his miracles and the judgments he uttered,

1Chr.16:8-12

 I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness,and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.

Ps.7.17

 The Lord is my strength and my shield;in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;my heart exults,and with my song I give thanks to him.

Ps.28.7

 I will praise the name of God with a song;I will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Ps.69.30

 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!     

Serve the Lord with gladness!Come into his presence with singing! 

Know that the Lord, he is God!

It is he who made us, and we are his;we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,and his courts with praise!Give thanks to him; bless his name! 

For the Lord is good;his steadfast love endures forever,and his faithfulness to all generations.

Ps.100.1-5

 Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So, Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,for his steadfast love endures forever!

Ps.107:1

 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
