Stories that glorify God…

Last night I attended a “gala” hosted by Mission Aviation Fellowship…we had a delicious meal followed by speakers telling of the impact MAF has had on their personal lives and those they have been in contact….

Their headquarters is in Nampa, ID…so it is a privilege to visit their facilities every once in awhile, visit with the people there…see their new projects…attend the dedication of the planes as they head in the sky, wending their way to the ends of the earth to help others…

 We heard stories of a few of the exploits…it warms my heart to see the Word spread, people taken care in difficult and normal  circumstances…to see the smiles of, the cultures they are able to service, whether in mountainous areas, rainforests, islands etc…Lesotho, Papua, Mozambique to name a few…places that are dark changed to light…through the gospel of Jesus Christ….

Psalm 48: 10 As your name, O God,

    so your praise reaches to the ends of the earth.

Isaiah 52: 7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
