Psalm 119…

 


Psalm 119….


When we read through the Bible, we tend to think it goes chronologically, but it doesn’t…

scholars tend to believe that Psalm 119 was written after the exile period of Israel and here  it is in the book of psalms , many written by David which was way before the exile period…

Some writers have said that Ezra was trying to teach the Israelites the love of the Word after their exile period…” as a repetitive meditation on the beauty of God’s Word and how it helps us stay pure and grow in faith” Bible study notes…with almost all the verses mentioning God’s Word…


If we read through it everyday, we would be counseled,  we would glorify God, our hearts would be taught , and so much more…we couldn’t help but love His Word…as Ezra hoped the Israelites would be…his love letter to his people…
